2D-3D Screen Prints

SUR+SPA RESEARCH / Spring 2025

Nathan Ross Davis + Mayssaa Al Mumin
Ayatalla Mohamed + Karmina Asaad

Through a three-part sequence, students translated objects from physical form to digital image and back into print. Beginning with wire lines, then foam sculptures, and finally wooden cube frames, each stage introduced increasing complexity—from one-colour to multi-layered three-colour screen prints. The project emphasized translation between analogue and digital methods, precision in registration, and the creative possibilities of layering form, colour, and texture in printmaking.
