This is the annual publication of prose and poetry from the Graduate Writing Program at the California College of the Arts. We were asked by our client to produce a simple book whose primary function was to present the texts in a readable form. We removed page numbers and all other forms of hierarchy to place emphasis on the community aspects which we had observed in the writing program. We then created a structure on the cover that required the reader to find the name on the spine and follow its trajectory through the lines and titles of other students around into that individual's chapter. This book was very well received by the department, and the students.
