This is a Semi-annual poster which advertises upcoming lectures at CCA. These posters are one of the primary forms of promotional collateral for the college. This was our first of three Lecture Series poster we did for the school, and for this one we set a couple of simple goals. We knew we wanted the calendar to be easy to read by a desk, without much distraction visual noise. We also wanted this poster to serve as the template design solution for the organization of information in subsequent posters. We wanted to establish a strong sense of identity through looking at the neighborhood around the school. The photography was from the neighborhood, and well represented the vacant and industrial feel of the Mission Bay area.
