Letter / Letter Project

Students select two letters and engage in a series of time based explorations, with the final result being a logo. From the logo they produce a company name, stationery system and one page ad. This is the backwards way to develop an identity system and it gives beginning students an insight into the questions, processes, and expectations of a professional identity project while still allowing them to hone basic formal skills in design.

This project is an adaptation of a project developed by Don Adleta at Ohio University.
