Type of Place
Can you determine the cultural identity of a place just based on vernacular typography? Typographic expression is diverse and pervasive. Our project sets out to survey and evaluate typographic form in various communities and locations. We hope to determine characteristics which are unique to specific places and cultural identities. The images here represent documentation from an installation in downtown Reykjavik, during the ATypI conference 2011.
