Students explored casting as a design process by building textured clay surfaces inside coddle board molds, then pouring plaster to capture the forms. Each square cast followed a standard plan but varied in height and surface detail, creating unique reliefs. After divesting, students applied gradient spray paints to emphasize depth and texture. Installed together as a grid, the collection formed a shared landscape that balanced individual expression with collective structure.
