In this final project, students designed and produced wearable works inspired by local sites. Beginning with a photographic survey, they translated visual elements of place into sculptural costumes made from materials such as fabric, cardboard, Tyvek, and found objects. Each costume was documented through a formal studio portrait and an on-site photo shoot, emphasizing both context and form. The project combined 2D, 3D, and lens-based production, challenging students to critically and creatively transform their environments into performative design outcomes.
