In groups, students designed and built miniature stage-like environments titled “_____ Wonderland,” filling in the blank with their chosen theme. Drawing inspiration from pre-cinema panoramas, theatrical sets, and parallax effects in digital media, each team developed layered 2D imagery to create dimensional, immersive worlds. The process included image research, vector drawing, laser cutting, and painting, culminating in collaborative diorama-like installations that combined strong visual craft with imaginative storytelling.
